Part-time position with opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance. Expected min of 20hrs per week, mornings preferred.
End-user support (helpdesk)
Providing first-line IT support via tickets, phone, and in person
Assisting with user account management (creation, permissions, password resets) under the supervision of senior IT staff Workstation & hardware Troubleshooting workstation hardware and software on Windows and macOS and linux.
Setting up, configuring, and imaging new devices Installing, relocating, and decommissioning workstations, monitors, phones, and networking equipment Infrastructure & server room
Performing basic server room tasks: cable management, patching, rack organisation, labelling, and visual inspections
Monitoring infrastructure dashboards and reporting anomalies or irregular activity to senior IT staff
Networking Supporting basic network operations, including switch and access point checks
Running cabling and troubleshooting connectivity issues Administration & coordination
Maintaining accurate records of equipment, assets, and support tickets in internal systems
Following internal procedures, security policies, and change-management timelines
Coordinating with other departments to resolve operational IT issues efficiently
Escalating complex or sensitive technical cases to senior staff when necessary
Providing administrative and operational support to the IT department as required
