Fullstack Software Engineer

Job Title: Software Engineer (React, Nodejs, Express, MySQL, AWS, React Native)

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus

We are a fast-paced digital agency that specializes in React, Nodejs, Express, MySQL, AWS, and React Native. We are looking for a talented and experienced software engineer who is passionate about creating innovative solutions and working on challenging projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain web and mobile applications using React, Nodejs, Express, MySQL, AWS, and React Native
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement new features and functionalities
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by using modern development practices such as code reviews, testing, and automation
• Work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, and prioritize them effectively
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during development or after deployment
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the software development industry
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project objectives and goals
• Use Github and CircleCI as part of the development process.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in React, Nodejs, Express, MySQL, AWS, and React Native
• Knowledge of modern software development practices such as Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD
• Experience working with Github and CircleCI
• Understanding of database design and management
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Proven experience in delivering projects on time and within budget

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with TypeScript, or other modern front-end technologies
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
• Familiarity with serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda
• Knowledge of Docker
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
