Job Description: English Teacher

Location: EN Language Centre, Nicosia, North Cyprus
Position Type: Full-Time

EN Language Centre is a Cambridge-recognized language school offering English education to students of all ages, from toddlers to adults. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled English Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time position that involves both on-campus and occasional off-campus teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging English lessons tailored to a variety of age groups and proficiency levels, including pre-school children.
• Teach on-campus at our centre and occasionally off-campus at partner institutions or corporate clients.
• Prepare lesson materials and use appropriate teaching methodologies in line with Cambridge standards and the Centre’s curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback and support to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates and inspires students.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
• Assist in organizing language-related activities, events, or workshops when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (BA) in English, Education, TESOL, Linguistics, or a related field.
• TOEFL or equivalent English teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, TESOL, TEFL).
• Prior teaching experience, preferably in an English language centre or school.
• Experience working with pre-school learners is highly preferred.
• Graduates from UK universities are preferred.
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to teach and engage students of diverse backgrounds and levels.
• Flexibility to teach off-campus as needed.
